Virtual Reality Event Staff for Infosys at Roland Garros

Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting. Since 2019, the company is the official partner of the French Tennis Federation (FFT).

As part of this partnership, Infosys and Roland-Garros have been working on several new digital experiences that open up a new era of sports viewing and fan engagement through new digital technologies: 3D, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Infosys has asked Agence Bonjour via a UK marketing agency to find proactive, English-speaking brand ambassadors to attract visitors, assist the general public with the technology, manage the flow of users, demonstrate how the technology works, create buzz and provide information on various aspects of the activation.

Our Parisian booking team was responsible for recruiting dynamic, experienced brand ambassadors, fluent in English and other foreign languages. Following the rigorous selection of candidates, Agence Bonjour put together a mixed and diverse team, perfectly matching the client’s specifications and the context of the event.

Our brand ambassadors were able to offer unique experiences to the Roland Garros public. In the fan zone, accompanied by our ambassadors, the spectators were able to immerse themselves in the intensive training of the professional players by playing on the Philippe Chatrier court in VR thanks to Infosys

  • They were able to play against the avatars of some of the best players in the world (Nadal, Djokovic, Federer) in front of a packed Philippe Chartier;
  • They could also choose to improve their technique through the training module which provided them with statistical information on their game, including spin, speed and ball placement;
  • With the assistance of our ambassadors, participants were also able to discover other aspects of the partnership, including the new Infosys Match Stats programme on the central touch screen in the fan zone.
